Calso initially started the 10-week weight loss course to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis. It was so successful we continued to keep the courses going so that other people could benefit. If you do decide to join one of our 10 week courses you will be weighed weekly throughout the course and given help and advice about your eating and exercise regime.

You may complete a course on your own or, if you feel a group course will provide you with more motivation, you can join a group. The courses are strict, but fair. Providing you follow the regime and don't cheat the RESULTS ARE GUARANTEED! If you would like to join one of the courses please book with Gary.

BENEFITS OF EATING AND DRINKING SENSIBLY

Not only will you lose weight by eating and drinking sensibly but you will have a much healthier, happier and more energetic body. Put the right fuel in and you will be surprised at the results you get! You will also discover that, contrary to popular belief, healthy food can be very tasty. So many people believe that healthy food is boring and flavourless, but this is simply not true.

There is a vast range of delicious healthy foods available, you just have to choose them carefully. Next time you go out for a meal or shopping remember to change your attitude and think ‘what can I have’ rather than ‘what can’t I have’. You will soon realise that there is a huge range available to you.

BENEFITS OF EXERCISE

Exercise will help you to develop and keep a healthy body. It will make you feel better physically and mentally and more efficient in your every day life. Everyone enjoys eating and drinking socially and it is exercise that allows you to do this in moderation by preventing weight gain. If you eat the calories, you need to burn them off, or your body will store them as fat. Exercise will speed up the calorie burning process and consume them before they turn to fat. Carrying extra fat not only makes you feel sluggish but is also bad for your health overall.

We want you to succeed, so if you are struggling please talk to us for some help and advice. Providing you are honest with us, there is no reason why you should not achieve your goals. We also want you to be happy about what you are doing, as weight loss/management means finding an eating and exercise regime that you can continue throughout your life. Returning to bad eating habits and not exercising will result on the weight going back on. Losing weight should be seen as positive, exciting and life changing. Please note if you do not use Calso to exercise you would be known as a Casual Member. A 10 week course as a Casual Member is £35.00 and as a Calso Member it is just £25.00. All courses must be paid for prior to commencement of the course.
